STRINGS
The strings in a Milton Piano are extra long which means a greater depth of tone and purity of sound. We use German Roslau 30% tin-coated strings yielding a rich bass, sweet tenor and brilliant treble. The bass strings have hand turned windings which guarantees a natural sound. All Milton Pianos feature agraffes, a feature usually only seen in grand pianos and high class uprights, which again adds to the clarity of sound.
KEYS
Milton Pianos The Keys on our pianos are manufactured from cross lminated hard wood, compressed under extremely high pressure. The structural integrity gleaned from cross laminated keys leads to the prevention of warping which may occur on other pianos. Each key is then individually cut to fit and balanced by the adition of lead weights to ensure a consistency right across the keyboard. the keys in a Milton pianos deliverss smooth energy transfer from your fingertips, through the keys and hammer and on to the string.
